Plastics offer the advantages of easy machineability , hand-ling and fabrication. due to the low specific gravity and energy efficient production methods, their cost per part of most plastics is often lower than the cost of parts made of traditional materials.Some plastics are highly resistant to many chemicals , electrolytic conversion and certainly rust.

All Zellamid’s products are annealed and stress relieved. We offer a range of highly developed products.

ZELLAMID® is supplied in standard sizes, both metric and inch according to DIN and ASTM specification. Plate and sheet can be planed and rod can be centerless ground as required to meet specific market demands.

ZELLAMID® products are annealed and stress relieved and put through a demanding quality control system, certified according to ISO 9001.

ZELLAMID® 1000 is ideal for high strength plus high heat applications and those requiring excellent electrical insulating properties which are stable over wide ranges of temperature and frequency. It is hydrolysis resistant, highly resistant to a broad range of chemicals though chemical resistance is strongly dependent on stress.

This material is a heavy duty, high impact and chemical resistant material appropriate for larger parts. It has high wear resistance at low and middle speeds and performs especially well under harsh conditions such as contact with sand or dust.
